My very first post to the tutorials section! As already mentioned on the Guitar Building forum, recycled take-out/takeaway lids from deli/Asian soup containers make excellent exact-size fret dam material. I got a chance to try several different supplier's lids, and all are 0.021" to 0.025" in thickness, will not stick to CA, and - did I mention this already? - free!

Be sure to test your specific recycled lid material for 'unstickableness' before use!
